I see the world as a series of images, and I love to capture specific moments through illustrations. Each illustration is meant to tell a story, and to tell the story, I experiment with form and style, specifically watercolor, ink, graphite, and digital.
I spent a week over the summer of 2022 taking a human figures drawing class at SCAD. It highlighted the expressive capabilities of the human form, and the flow of the proportions and poses.
Our final project was a 30 minute pose (shown here).
In the week leading up to our final, we worked with models who would typically pose for 30 second intervals. We focused on capturing the human form overall, with an emphasis on proportions.
